Bird’s Nest opening brings food and drink back to Lake Vista center
Bird’s Nest Cafe, the first food and drink place to come to the Lake Vista Community Center in 40 years, will open its doors this Sunday, Sept. 24.
The coffee shop was approved by the Non-Flood Protection Management Authority this March and is partially owned by Courtney Enderle, who was general manager of Lola’s restaurant for nine years. Bird’s Nest Cafe, located at 6508 Spanish Fort Blvd, will serve beverages, bagels, pastries, and sandwiches.
“It’s a beautiful space, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone,” Enderle said.
For opening day, Bird’s Nest Cafe will operate from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The café will be open for 7 or 8 a.m. for the rest of its first week, according to Enderle.
