Drainage system improvements in Gentilly, low water pressure expected
Residents and businesses in the Gentilly area will experience low water pressure on Monday, March 20 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., according to the Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans.
Streets affected are Treasure Street from Eads Street to Peoples Avenue and on Rabbits Street from Abundance Street to Benefit Street.
Renda/J. Brothers Construction Company, working for Sewerage and Water Board and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, will perform drainage system work on Monday.
This work is part of the $147.5 million Florida Avenue Canal Phase IV- SELA Drainage Project.
