All riders are encouraged to join as Bike Easy Members to support their work, but the ride is open and free to everyone.

There will be two refreshment stops along the route, and we’ll return to the same spot so all riders can enjoy Gentilly Fest. The ride is free and open to everyone!
BEFORE THE RIDE
Please arrive early! All ride participants must sign-in on the Bike Easy waiver form, and there will be bicycle information and refreshments available. The first 100 Bike Easy Members to check in will receive a free t-shirt, and you can become a Member at the Second Line. All-American Healthcare will be leading a stretching exercise from 10:30 – 11am. The Bicycle Second Line rolls at 11am sharp!
GET READY TO RIDE WITH US
Join Bike Easy at our Gentilly Bicycle Second Line, a pedal-powered version of the famous, musical second line parades that wind through New Orleans streets during the year. All you need is a bike! For tips on making sure your bike is ready to roll, check out this short ABC Quick Check video.
ANYONE CAN PARTICIPATE
As a parade around the city, anyone can participate. Dust off that bike, fill up those tires and be escorted around Gentilly and back to Pontchartrain Park. Afterward, explore the culture and music on display at Gentilly Fest. We hope to see you and your family and friends for this fun ride through Gentilly.
PARADE PACE WITH LIVE MUSIC
The pace is 7-10 mph (which anyone can do) with two stops.. The brass band will be riding in a trailer while playing classic Second Line tunes to lead the way! We’re excited to have theLagniappe Brass Band lead the parade this year!
