Sponsored: A study on the Gentilly Resilience District
from Eloise Reid, University of Michigan graduate student
My name is Eloise. I am a former resident of New Orleans and a current Master’s student at the University of Michigan studying environmental planning. I am interested in interviewing any resident of Gentilly about a city and federal flood management project called the Gentilly Resilience District (GRD).
(I am in no way associated with the district, just collecting information for school.)
I am interested in how the GRD has or has not included residents’ voices in the planning and process throughout its existence so far, and what other potential changes could occur alongside the new implementation of “green infrastructure.”
Click here for the Google Survey that should not take more than 10 minutes. It can be filled out anonymously and/or if you would like your name to be entered into a raffle drawing for a $40 Gift Card to the place of your choice (within reason), you can enter your email address in the last question!
If you would rather do an in-person or over the phone interview, please call me at 802-793-7704. Thank you so much for your participation!
All the Best,
