University of New Orleans to host 6th annual Crawfish Mambo: Cook-off and Music Festival on the Lake
The 2017 New Orleans crawfish cook-off, hosted by the University Of New Orleans International Alumni Association, will be held this Saturday, May 13 on the Lakefront. The event is family-friendly and children ages seven and under enter free.
Festival goers can sample all-you-can-eat crawfish from over 50 competing teams and enjoy a live music line-up featuring Paris Avenue, The Top Cats, Category 6, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, and Dash Rip Rock.
Vendors and a kids tent will also be available.
The 6th annual Crawfish Mambo will be held at 2000 Lakeshore Drive from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $30 at the gate.
