NOPD seeking vehicle in shooting on Gentilly Boulevard
The New Orleans Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle of interest and its occupants at the time of the commission of an aggravated battery by shooting on May 25 in Gentilly Terrace.
At about 5:30 p.m., NOPD Third District officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound inside of a vehicle that had crashed into a tree at Gentilly Boulevard and Venus Street.
The Emergency Medical Service transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment. He had been shot multiple times while driving on Gentilly Boulevard, police said.
The pictured blue truck, possibly a Toyota Tacoma, was seen in the area at the time of the incident and is believed to have been involved.
